MOSES&THE BUSH .

One day, while George Bush was sitting in his chair in the white house, staring out the window, he saw Moses walking by on the pavement outside. Not believing his eyes, he rubbed them and looked again. It was Moses! To be absolutely certain he quickly ran out of the building to greet him. But as Moses saw him approaching from a distance, he quickly took flight and sped away!Disappointed and panting, George Bush retreated back inside.

The next day, at exactly the same time, while Bush was sitting on his chair once again staring out in the distance, he saw Moses appear at exactly the same spot again! He dashed out, but once again, when Moses caught sight of him, he quickly ran away, and because of all the exercise walking about in the desert, he easily outpaced the George Bush.

George Bush resolved to meet Moses the next day. The next day, before the time came, George BUsh went out to the spot he had seen Moses on the previous two occasions, and waited. When the time came, there he was! Moses appeared again, walking towards that same spot.

This time, before Moses could react, George Bush pounced on him and caught him!

“Moses! Why is it that on the last two occasions when you saw me, you ran away?!” - asked an exasperated Bush.

Moses, evidently unhappy, replied, “because the last time I spoke to a Bush, I had to spend 40 years in the desert.”
